Representation
The Refugee Legal Centre offers advice and representation to those who have made or are about to make their initial asylum application. We offer representation to both detained and non-detained clients. By taking a statement regarding your application we can help set down your claim and submit it to the Home Office. We can assist you in preparing for an interview with the Home Office and complete any forms that the Home Office and Immigration Service may give you in relation to your asylum claim.
Please note that as of 05 March 2007 the Home Office will no longer issue statement forms to new adult asylum seekers in accordance with their New Asylum Model (NAM).
