Salary: £23,176 to £27,491
per annum
As a
Caseworker you will play a crucial role in our important work providing
quality legal assistance to asylum seekers eligible for Legal Services
Commission (LSC) funding under the Legal Help and Controlled Legal
Representation Schemes. The quality of your
advice can have a significant impact on people’s lives, so you will work
to the most demanding performance targets.
Your
work will involve giving advice and representing asylum seekers both at
pre-decision stage and first instance appeals before immigration judges.
For
these positions successful candidates will have
 |
Experience of putting together comprehensive and compelling evidence
|
|
Experience in managing a large client-based workload within tight
deadlines |
|
Experience of conducting in-depth interviews |
|
An
ability to advocate on behalf of others |
|
A
professional and sensitive attitude |
|
Be computer literate in MS Office and in the use of databases
|
